Credits and Grading

Each course is worth 3 credits, and is for 35 to 45 hours, depending on whether it is part of the quarter, semester, or intensive programs.

The courses are graded by the faculty teaching them, on the basis of a combination of written exams, research and response papers, and oral presentations or projects.

NIRMAN gives its own transcripts. Please contact the registrar of your college or your study abroad office to validate our transcript and transfer credits.

See program for more information on the types of programs and courses available.
